More, Better Chances of Rain Upcoming(prayerfully)

Partly to mostly sunny skies prevailed across the SEARK Sunday as high pressure remained in control over the mid south. Temperatures once again flirted with record levels at some reporting stations.

This morning, high levels clouds obscured the sunrise in some areas, a direct result of an upper level disturbance over Texas. Unfortunately, no precipitation was associated with feature across the mid south.

As high pressure moves off to the east, some moisture will begin return to the Natural State, although not enough to put a scratch on this epic drought gripping this part of the country. Slight chances of showers and thunderstorms come into play later tonight, increasing into Tuesday night (40%), as a weak cold front slowly moves across the state .

Temperatures will remain mild rising to above norms by the end of the week before rain chances again return. Some of the weather models are coming into agreement and showing more widespread rain with significant amounts, coming by late in the weekend. I pray these models are right and don't change!
Let's pray for rain!!
