Temperatures in the SEARK last night dropped only into the lower to mid 60's, thanks mostly to a warm front that moved through the region. With the passage of the front, dew points have been steadily rising, a reminder that this is Arkansas, not Arizona.
It's also a reminder that the Gulf of Mexico, the source of moisture and a missing ingredient in our lack of severe weather this spring, will be open for business for most of the week. If we don't have any potent storms this week, it will be lack of dynamics, not dew points!
