Severe Weather Outbreak Possible Thursday

The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of southern and eastern Arkansas under a "Moderate Risk" for severe storms, for Thursday and much of Thursday night.

In their Area Forecast Discussion, The National Weather Service declares, "Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of the cold
front, and will move across the forecast area.

Severe thunderstorms are likely, with damaging winds and
tornadoes possible given the amount of wind energy present at all levels of the atmosphere. "

Moderate to heavy rain is also possible, depending on where the warm front stalls out tonight.

Please stay tuned to your local TV, radio or internet source for the latest weather info.
