Beautiful weather is on tap again for the SEARK today as a cool high pressure retreats to the southeast. Southerly winds will increase today along with temperatures, as a cold front approaches the Natural State.
On Monday the front will exit the area with no precipitation associated with the frontal passage. However, a storm system will be approaching the region from the west late Monday. Moisture will increase ahead of this storm system, and showers and few thunderstorms will develop Monday night. Precipitation is expected to end on Wednesday . Preliminary estimates of a half to an inch and a half of rainfall are very welcomed to the parched South. Some areas toward the LA border may pick up two inches.
Another cold front will arrive in the SEARK the latter part of the week, keeping temperatures on the cool side into the weekend.
Don’t forget to turn back your clocks next weekend-one of the few things I dislike about Fall !
