A strong surface low-pressure system and trailing cold front will approach the SeArk Wednesday. As instability increases ahead of the system, so will our chances for thunderstorms. A few storms may become severe, especially as we head into the late afternoon/ early evening time period, and continuing until @ midnight.
Due to the complexity of this system, please monitor the latest forecast from the National Weather Service for up-to-date information. Review your storm preparedness rules, as this will probably be our first bout of severe weather this spring.
