What Else is there to Say? It is WET!

Rain began late Sunday as the next, in a series of seemingly endless weather disturbances, began effecting the area.   Rain was heavy at times, especially this morning in areas of Drew, Desha and Chicot counties where radar estimates of 4" were noted. Some streets in Dermott (Chicot County) were flooded.  This current wave of rain is exiting the area but there are others upstream to follow, along with a frontal boundary that will be lifting north.  Throw in a couple of thunderstorms ( if we happen to get any sunshine to speak of).  All this combined will make for a Mulligan Stew of weather the next few days.

What we desperately need is vigorous cold front (one that doesn't hang up in Northern LA or MS) to sweep through this area and move all the moisture out of here!  Perhaps the front Thursday night or Friday will be the one to do just that.  This has been by far-the wettest fall in recent memory.  I cannot think of one that has been wetter.
